 Please read this letter from Cardinal Cupich and the Bishops of the Archdiocese of Chicago as they implore us to contact our legislators in Illinois and ask them to continue the tax credit scholarship program. If the General Assembly in Springfield does not act to extend the program during its upcoming session in late October, the program will end. Many of these children from lower-income families attend Catholic schools and will have to disrupt their education.
