Confirmation is often referred to as the Sacrament of the Holy Spirit. The Sacrament of Confirmation builds upon Baptism, and completes an individual’s initiation into the Catholic Church. In Confirmation, recipients receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit – Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, Counsel, Fortitude, Piety, and Fear of the Lord.
At Divine Mercy Parish, we prepare children in the seventh and eighth grade to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. For more information, visit our Children's Ministry page or contact the Children’s Ministry Office at the Parish. |
