The Importance of Your Continued Donations

With COVID and its variants still gripping our community, and many parishioners
still joining us online, your donations and support are critical.
Did you know that  approximately 75% of our collection income comes from the Sunday collection basket versus online giving?  Divine Mercy offers three easy ways to continue your giving:
    1. GIVE ONLINE using our secure donation website GiveCentral.
    2. GIVE BY TEXT (NEW) Just text the word givemercy (one word, no spaces) to 847-865-9265 and follow the easy instructions in the automated reply you receive. It's safe, secure, and so easy!
    3. GIVE BY MAIL by sending your donation to Divine Mercy Parish, 1077 Tower Road, Winnetka, IL 60093.
  • Stewardship is the recognition that all we have is a gift from God and is central to the continued vitality of our faith community. In addition to our many Ministry and Service opportunities, your financial support of Divine Mercy Parish is a reflection of your pride in it and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

    Online Giving via GiveCentral

Online giving via GiveCentral lets you take advantage of the ease and convenience of making one-time or recurring donations—whichever works best for you—to Divine Mercy, our sharing parishes, and/or Archdiocesan special collections. GiveCentral lets you manage your own donation amounts and payment dates, and pay using credit card or bank debit. Start today by clicking the button below. If you require assistance, please call Cindy Atsaves in the Parish Office at 847.446.0856 ext. 114.

Not sure how Give Central works?  Watch the video below from our Finance Council on how to donate to Divine Mercy.

Cash, Checks & Automated Bill Pay

In addition to online giving, you can make charitable contributions to Divine Mercy Parish via:
    • Cash or Check – Please use the envelopes that we mail to you on every month.
    • Automatic Bill Pay – Arrange for automatic bill pay with your banking institution and they will send us a check in the amount and on the dates of your choosing. An added benefit to this option is that we are not charged a processing fee like we are charged for credit card transactions.

    Other Donation Alternatives

The following donation alternatives can be taken advantage of now and in the future. For more information about these options, please contact Michelle Wasielewski, Director of Operations, at [email protected].
    • Appreciated Property – Take advantage of tax savings and donate appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. to Divine Mercy.
    • Gifting of Securities
    • Gifts with Retained Income for You or Others – Such gifts can provide income for you and/or others, along with current and future tax savings and other financial benefits.
    • Gifts through your Will or Living Trust – You can specify a certain amount, percentage, or property, to be donated to Divine Mercy.
    • Life Insurance – Life Insurance proceeds or a portion of the proceeds can make an excellent gift to Divine Mercy.
    • Retirement Plan Assets – Giving a portion of Retirement Plan Assets can be a simple method of donating to Divine Mercy. Such gifts can be made on a tax-free basis during, and/or following your lifetime.
