Christmas Sharing Is Here!
As you know...
People are in need now more than ever. Serving others is part of who we are as Catholics and as members of Divine Mercy Parish. Our parishioners are extremely generous. AND Christmas is around the corner. How we can bring Christmas to others this year! The Great Gift Card Challenge! This is a challenge we want to undertake on behalf of both our sharing parishes, St. Benedict the African and St. Moses the Black (formerly St. Columbanus). We've been in touch with both parishes and each has determined the specific needs of their community, as well as the gift cards which would work best for them. See the instructions below for how to participate in the Great Gift Card Challenge! Thank you for whatever you can give towards this effort! |
- Sign up for a gift card. You may sign up for as many as you wish.
- Purchase the gift card and get a receipt for each card.
- Place the gift card(s) and receipt(s) in an envelope marked "Christmas Sharing." Remember to put your name on the envelope so we can keep track of who returned their cards.
- Put your envelope in the offertory at Mass or bring it to the parish office. If the office is closed, you may put it into the black drop box next to the front door. Please do not put your envelope into the mailbox!
Or, you may mail your envelope to Divine Mercy Parish, 1077 Tower Rd., Winnetka, IL 60093, Attn: Christmas Sharing.
